(Politico)
- "The price for a building like the one ICE purchased would typically be between $100 and $110 per square foot.

👉👉 Also! Says "teleporting is no fun" and that he has teleported to Waffle House:
""Teleporting is no fun," Phillips added. "It's no fun because you don't really know what you're doing. You don't really understand it, it's scary, but yet um – but so real. And you know it's happening but you can't do anything about it, and so you just go, you just go with the ride. And wow, what just an incredible adventure it all was.""

"Phillips' work was later featured prominently in the film "2000 Mules," a documentary that alleged widespread ballot trafficking in the 2020 election and was promoted as evidence of systemic fraud by Phillips and True the Vote, an election-monitoring organization that has long peddled debunked voter-fraud theories.
The film's claims were widely disputed by election officials, courts and independent experts. The film's distributor, Salem Media Group, later withdrew "2000 Mules" and its companion book from distribution and issued a public apology as part of a defamation settlement." (Rachel shares CNN)

- It's almost like, maybe, hear me out here, maaaaybe... this thing they've been doing at CBS really isn't working out.
One radical idea, free for the taking:
Undo it.
"It's the latest hurdle at the venerable news network once defined by such authoritative voices as Edward R. Murrow, who rose to fame covering World War II for its radio division, and Walter Cronkite, who commanded mass audiences in the 1970s as anchor of "CBS Evening News." That flagship broadcast has posted declining ratings despite an overhaul led by Weiss that put veteran journalist Tony Dokoupil in the anchor's chair in January.
"This is the end of an era," said Michael Socolow, a University of Maine professor who researches American radio networks.
The announcement of CBS News Radio's demise followed an earlier notice Friday that CBS News would cut jobs across its newsroom. A person familiar with the company's operations, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose nonpublic information, said the cuts would affect about 6 percent of CBS News. The person added that other newsroom divisions beyond the radio team would also be affected by layoffs, without specifying which ones." (Rachel shares Washington Post)
