On Saturday, another 17 hostages were released, after an hourslong delay as Qatari and Egyptian diplomats scrambled to keep the Israel-Hamas deal on track. 39 Palestinian prisoners were released from three prisons. As many as 50 hostages are expected to be freed from Gaza and 150 Palestinians from Israel by the end of the four-day truce.   On Monday, Biden celebrated his 81st birthday at the White House, making jokes about his age, after new poll numbers reveal his vulnerability ahead of the 2024 election. The latest poll comes even as many of Trump's former aides and allies continue to sound the alarm about the grave dangers of a second Trump presidency. This week, Donald Trump suffered what many legal experts are calling his worst day yet in the New York civil fraud trial after damaging — and tearful — testimony from his former business associate. Special counsel Jack Smith and Donald Trump's lawyers faced off in federal court over Trump's partial gag order in his election interference case. On Wednesday, new documents revealed that the ex-president's attacks on the New York judge's clerk have resulted in "hundreds of threatening and harassing" messages against her, which could have implications for rulings on Trump's gag orders in the near-future.   Missed something?
