Biden spoke of support for the Israeli people and also cautioned Prime Minister Netanayhu about the potential impact of a full scale ground invasion in Gaza. The situation continues to be fluid. On Friday, two American hostages, a mother and daughter, were released by Hamas in what NBC correspondent Raf Sanchez called "a carefully choreographed PR move." On Saturday, 20 trucks carrying supplies entered Gaza through Egypt's Rafah border crossing for the first time since the war broke out.    Meanwhile in Washington, it's been over 18 days since the ousting of Speaker Kevin McCarthy and after a full week of theatrics, betrayals, and public humiliation, the House Republican majority finds itself right back where it started: speaker-less and fractured. Despite a Trump-style intimidation campaign, Jim Jordan's speaker hopes suffered a fatal blow after three failed floor votes on Friday when he lost over half of his own conference's support during a secret closed-door ballot vote. Republicans are expected to hold their third candidate forum in two weeks on Monday evening, and more than  10 Republicans have put their names forward in the past day (8 out of 10 of whom are election-deniers). Donald Trump's legal troubles reached new levels of despair this week after Fulton County co-defendants Sidney Powell and Kenneth Cheseboro pleaded guilty in the Georgia election interference case. That makes three guilty pleas secured by District Attorney Fani Willis. On Friday, the judge presiding over Donald Trump's $250 million civil fraud trial fined the former president $5,000 and floated the idea of jailing him for defying a partial gag order requiring him to remove a post trashing the judge's law clerk on social media.   Missed something?
