VIEW IN BROWSER MSNBC DAILY Understand today's news VIEW IN BROWSER MSNBC DAILY Understand today's news Sunday, July 30, 2023 IN CASE YOU MISSED IT Trump's legal troubles went from very bad to much worse this week beginning on Tuesday, when NBC News reported Rudy Giuliani conceded to making "false" statements about two Georgia 2020 election workers who are suing him, raising concerns about the former Trump lawyer's credibility and loyalty. On Thursday, a superseding federal indictment in Trump's classified documents case added Carlos De Oliveira, a Mar-a-Lago maintenance supervisor, as a third defendant in the case. The updated Florida indictment also adds several new charges for both Trump and his aide Walt Nauta, painting an even more damning picture of Trump's alleged mishandling of documents and scheme to cover it up. In Washington, Trump's lawyers met with members of Jack Smith's team and were told to expect an indictment, according to two sources familiar with the matter. Trump denies his attorneys were given "notice" of forthcoming charges. On Wednesday, former military intelligence officer David Grusch told a House Oversight subcommittee that the government has debris collected from crashed alien spacecraft. He also told the assembled lawmakers that federal retrieval teams have collected biological remains from alien bodies.   Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to federal tax charges Wednesday after a plea deal he struck with the government unraveled when the judge raised questions about the terms of the agreement.   Missed something?
