President Joe Biden is loath to roll back some of the immigration restrictions his predecessor.

President Joe Biden is loath to roll back some of the immigration restrictions his predecessor put in place and is actually considering implementing some to mitigate a predicted surge at the U.S. border with Mexico. This means, Hayes Brown writes, that former President Donald Trump's "most lasting policy legacy was his assault on legal immigration."
Though the Biden administration is an awful position politically and practically, Brown describes its dilemma as a "win-win situation for Trump: Either Biden keeps the limits on immigration in place, or he risks the system being overwhelmed as those limits are lifted." Read Hayes Brown's full analysis in your Thursday MSNBC Daily. |
