A withdrawal of our limited forces in Syria now is not in our interests. It would empower ISIS, al-Qaeda, Iran, Bashar al-Assad, and Putin, while encouraging more of Assad's mass atrocities against Syrians, increased refugee flows, terrorist expansion, and general instability. | |
